HOW TO USE
- Clean the glass or ceramic surface thoroughly with alcohol or soap and water.
- Allow to air dry completely.
- For best results, use a sponge wedge to dab the paint onto the surface.
- For a dishwasher-safe finish, allow the paint to dry at least 4 days before baking.
- Place in a non-preheated oven, then bring to 325 degrees F for 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely in the oven with the door open before removing.
- Once completely cooled, condition the chalkboard surface by lightly rubbing the side of a piece of chalk across it.
TIPS
- Use a cosmetic sponge to daub on paint for an even finish.
- Mask areas with painter’s tape to create clean, geometric shapes.
- Make your own stencils by cutting adhesive vinyl sheets with scissors or a die cut machine to create decorative chalkboard labels.
- Clean up imperfections in small areas by using a wet brush, toothpick, or paper towel to gently wipe off the excess wet paint.
- To remove all wet paint from a surface, soak the item in warm water.
