No chemicals, colorants, or additives makes AlphaOil/ Preservative totally safe for conditioning your expensive brushes. AlphaOil should be applied liberally after you have cleaned your brush from any residual paint. Pay close attention to the heal of the brush (where the hairs meet the ferrule), as this is the first place dried paint will build up, rendering your brush useless.
